Monday night is here and you feeling like dancing to some Drum and Bass, where are some good places to go? This bi weekly segment will focus on events that take place around the states by each week day.
We start in Orlando Florida for the one of the longest running Drum and Bass nights in Orlando, a club called TORQUE. This club has had their decks graced by all of the Drum and Bass legends from LTJ Bukem, Andy C, Aphrodite, Roni Size, Mob Tactics and even our own Best Drum and Bass artist Bad Syntex. TORQUE has stellar reviews for the music they bring and the vibe that they provide. TORQUE is heading into their 19th year and on March 19th they will be hosting the 20 year World of Drum and Bass tour.
Our next Monday night spot is Konkrete Jungle in New York. This is another Monday night event with good roots in the scene considering they have been around for almost 25 years. Konkrete Jungle has a solid following on social media, loyal patrons, and no shortage of talented Artists. They have a slew of local and regional Drum and Bass artists who play for them and are located in the bustling town of Manhattan. Konkrete Jungle is a staple name in the Drum and Bass scene and can be found in different cities with imprints in Las Vegas, Detroit and Texas to name a few. Be sure to look them up in cities that you visit.
Last we head over to the West Coast and my hometown of San Diego where Organized Grime calls Mondays home. Organized Grime just celebrated their eight year anniversary with no signs of slowing down. The venue has a relaxed vibe with plenty of room to dance, good drink specials and friendly locals. Each week they focus on local, regional talent and international talent. Tonight; Jayline from the UK will be gracing the decks.
Mondays has you covered when you need some Drum and Bass to kick off your week. Check back soon for some Tuesday night events.
