Hey guys! You asked for it, we are delivering. This first ever Abducted LTD DJ Mix Competition is here! This is a way for us to spread the word of Abducted LTD and get some people on board to help represent the label around the world (as well as get you some great free music). In case you didnt know, Abducted LTD is my Record label and between Abducted Records and Abducted LTD we’ve been lucky enough to have releases from Skynet, Maztek, Mefjus, Neonlight (before they were even Neonlight), and so many more.
I’m looking forward to seeing this grow, and we will plan to do this bi-annually if it gets a good response. So have fun, and best of luck to you!
The deadline is October 1, 2020. So get it moving!
Rules and more info
- Comment on the official Facebook post (photo) for the competition if you plan to submit: Linked here. If that link doesnt work, find the photo featured here on the official Abducted LTD facebook page and comment there!
- Mix must be between 30-40 minutes long
- Full tracklist must be included that also includes the record labels for each tune.
- Mix must be 100% Drum & Bass
- Abducted LTD tunes are not required to be used, but keep in mind we are judging based on who we think would fit best as a representative of the label.
Submission Guidelines
- Mix must be posted publicly on your Soundcloud, with the title “Abducted LTD DJ Mix Competition by (YOUR DJ NAME HERE)”. You can publish early, but not later than the deadline
- Click here for the mix art
- The final link to your mix on Soundcloud must be submitted to info@abductedrecords.com by Midnight PST October 1, 2020.
Prizes:
Depending on the turnout, we may increase the number of prizes. But we will offer at LEAST the following:
Grand Prize: 6 months on the Abducted LTD promo list + 2 Abducted Shirts mailed to you
1st Runner up: Abducted shirt mailed to you + 2 free downloads of your choice from the Abducted LTD catalog
2nd Runner up: 2 free downloads of your choice from the Abducted LTD catalog
