Its hard for me to believe that two of the most influential artists of not only my career, but I would think most producers careers, has yet to be featured here. Calyx & Teebee both are well deserved of a highlight on their own merits, before they combined forces to be the global powerhouse they have become today. I still feel like Subtitles, which is Teebee’s label, is one of the most influential forces of my early career and drew me immediately into the techy side of Drum and Bass. I won’t droll on too long because as they are now most commonly seen, the duo of Calyx & Teebee has found their way into the largest stages of the world, and for good reason. Signature sounds, signature vocals done by Calyx, memorable 6 deck live sets that span styles that would impress even the most elitist of arm crossing dance goers, they really embody everything that you could want from a drum and bass act both in the studio and on the stage. they definitely are one of the acts that reminds me what an amazing world of music we are so fortunate to be a part of. With that, i say a massive thank you and so much respect to two of the best in the game!
