In the world of Drum and Bass, the term “Artist” can take so many important forms, meanings and critical aspects of our culture. In light of that, I always want to make sure that our Artist of the Week series stays open to all of those crazy enough to venture into the world of DNB to put their stamp on it, and one such person who checks many of those boxes is the USDNB label owner and artist Grym. Not only known for his unique style of dark cinematic music cultivated on his label, and globally recognized DNB night “Onset”, he is also one of the leading (or at least in my opinion, one of the best) graphic designers involved in DNB today, having done art featured on more major labels than I could possibly try to list. I am sure his list of credentials reaches even longer than I know, but I do know for certain that he is well deserved of his shine for the work in music, and design for the music we all love.
