A Sides featuring Makoto – Temptation (Eastside Records)

0

Two of the most legendary producers in the world of drum and bass team up for this vibey roller in “Temptation“. Alone, A Sides has been one of the most prolific producers in D&B for the last 25 years and is showing no signs of slowing down with his latest release on Eastside RecordsQuart” (short for a quarter century i believe). There are some amazing new original tunes on this album along with monster remixes. Sector 2 is the second installment in what means to resemble the last 25 years of A Sides career in a full spectrum of new releases, dubs he had worked on for many years and kept to him self and things he wrote on the road traveling the world with fellow his D&B producers and djs. The track that really grabbed my attention was Temptation featuring the liquid don Makoto. With these two you can’t really ask for a better combination of styles! Makoto brings that soulful depth while you can hear the rugged A Sides style drums and synths he’s known for. For some artists staying relevant is something that can be tough to grasp at times, but A Sides seems to just stick to his game plan and be the pace setter. By the way he is currently taking North American bookings if you want to see how he does it on the one’s and two’s. The full album is available as of 9/15/16 on all legal digital outlets, buy this and play it Loud!
