Beskar – You Can’t Have Me / CØunts – Dirtbox Recordings

by | Jul 22, 2025 | Releases, Tunes

Yo D&B heads!

Sorry had a little break from articles from me as I’ve been away, back now though and ready to bring you some wicked music!

This one is from the Dirtbox Recordings camp, from the mighty Beskar, my favourite Star Wars obsessed artist.  He’s brought us a 2 part single here with some supreme quality.

The first side is “You Can’t Have Me”.  This one starts with a peaceful, computerised into leading to a serene and melodic build up with a wicked vocal over the top.  As the tune gains traction to the drop we are met with some epic production from Beskar which rolls us through a pretty amazing tune.  The second drop treats us to a half-time delight before dropping back to that 170 we love.

Next up we have CØunts which immediately has some energy from the moment you push play with a gritty beat and some quality sampling.  The energy keeps building until the drop which is quite frankly disgusting, leaving you breathless with its ferocity and screaming metal vocals. I’d liken this style to a bit more of a melodic Current Value which is by no means a bad thing.

This release from Beskar is out now so you can grab a copy by clicking the banner above or artwork below.

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years. Having developed my listening style with how the music has evolved I love the freshest tunes as well as the old ones! I've been mixing for fun since around 2005 and just love playing in front of people and sharing the music with likeminded people.
