ERB N DUB
#1 What was the inspiration behind your latest release?
Drummer VIP is a special track to me. It includes live drumming from myself. Dubplate Killer is a track that shows how diverse we can be.
#2 Whats your creative process like while working together?
Its great fun, we may spend hours making sounds before even starting making a tracks.
#3 Is the union of all of you going to be a more permanent project.?
You will have to wait and see.
#4 whats the biggest tool in production that has affected your ability to make music
With this project its Ableton. Cubase or Logic don’t come close in the automation world to even compete
#5 whats everyones biggest influence musically
I would have to say – Justin Beiber
# Any plans on coming to America!?
Bring it on!
MALUX
#1 what was the inspiration behind the release
It was the first VIP i’v worked on and I didn’t want to release it at first because I like keeping some exclusives. But then we had been sitting on the dubplate killer track for a while so they paired up quite well. The inspiration for dubplate killer was definitely the horns. We’d been making these horns a few weeks before and as soon as we dragged them in it was clear what needed to be done!
#2 whats your creative process like while working together
As i said before, we make a lot of sounds before hand, such as the horns, drums, basses and all sorts. often spend a whole night just on sounds. Then when it comes to writing we all just take turns firing sounds back and forth.
#3 Is the union of all of you going to be a more permanent project.?
without saying to much, we have lots more music in the works…..
#4 whats the biggest tool in production that has affected your ability to make music
for me it’s Ableton, i jumped from logic about 3 years ago and never looked back!
#5 whats everyones biggest influence musically
too many! in drum and bass specifically, its the usual, Noisia, Phace & Misanthrop, Mefjus, emperor.
# Any plans on coming to america!?
As soon as possible!!!
