Climpo – Rise Up [Captum Records]

So it’s Monday and we be on virus lock down! We need to look at the positive side, we get to search for music more! With that being said, I found something different this week and i’m not sure how I feel about it. Let’s take a look at Climpo’s Rise Up out on Captum Records. I can’t decide how I feel about it. I will say this, when I decided to write about this track I didn’t know that it is a charity track (for PTSD Resolution & Combat Stress – I can get behind this).
Lets get into this Rise Up. At first I thought it was a dubstep track, then this slow build continues into this halftime-ish neuro-ish track. The bass is deep and wobbles really nice. The track changes throughout so you could use it to go in and out of some dubstep…if you put that crap in your sets. The vocal sample add to the dark eerie feel that this track has.
Over all this Climpo track is well produced…i’m just not sure how I feel about it…on one hand I want to not like it cause of the dubstepiness it has (I really just don’t care for the genre) but I really dig the all around feel of Rise Up. What do you think?

Cheers,

Share.
