One of the hardest working names in the Drum & Bass scene currently is back with a HUGE EP on Othercide Recordings. If you have been paying attention this year is has been held hostage by the infamous German Producer Tim Elliot.. AKA Current Value. With a release schedule of persistent bangers and groovers pushing the boundaries of sound design and structure you have definitely heard his tunes at any given D&B night all around the globe. The level of skill continues to be risen and the bar being set higher and higher with each release. The Rethink EP is his latest contribution to the scene and its out of this world.

This time around checking out “Serum X” from the Rethink EP. The tune starts out with Current Value’s Signature metallic percussion sounds tinkering away in the soundscape paired with technology influenced special effects bleeping into the foreground of the tune. Crashing into the drop with gritty cutting edge reese bass with clarity that could slice through diamonds. Eerie and mystical atmospheric synths waft around the soundscape making this tune a fierce advisory.
