It’s not every release that I find a tune worth dropping on it’s own merits. Most people that listen to my mixes know that I fancy a bit three deck play. However, it’s not every EP where I end up liking every single tune on the thing. Anywhere from astronomically immense drum and bass jungle rollers to gritty jump up half-time tuna, Gavin Damage nailed this release. No stranger to the scene as well Danny Dubplate Cootes the duplate teasing don of the digital world, owner of Spectre Audio where you can find this massive release as well as others. The amount of tunes Cootes goes through designates if it’s on his label it is top quality material. Tonight is the tune that got me ecstatic about this release, as it is a release from a few months ago pay no attention to it. A release is a release, a good one.. timeless. Head Cold is that gritty jump up tune that thankfully had enough percussion to keep the momentum rolling in this, what I proclaim is the biggest tune on ‘The Door To Nowhere’. Door Test and Wasteman follow up closing this 4 EP out. Tease the for track EP below, like what you hear? Support the artist and labels putting in the work.
