Dirtbox Recordings Tape Pack Series Drop 1

by | Jan 3, 2024 | Spotlight, Tunes

So we’re into 2024 now!  And it’s already kicking off with a bang from the Dirtbox Recordings camp with a really exciting new concept.  This is the Tape Pack Series which is going to be a series of releases that span over the full 12 months of the year.

The first drop is two Artists who have been rising higher and higher in terms of skill and notability; The Fi5th and Shayper who have both recently had phenomenal releases on Dirtbox Recordings.

The first track from The Fi5th is titled Procedure V1 and is a barrage of rolling neurofunk which has been meticulously produced by this great artist.  Someone who I have had the pleasure of meeting a few times this year at a radio station and at a few of the Virus Recordings event, he’s really down to earth and makes some seriously killer beats.  This tune is a proper nan slapper and I can’t wait for you all to hear what else The Fi5th has coming on the future releases!

The second track from Shayper is called Iteration V1 and from the get go it has an awesome sounding bit of atmosphere building, almost like a marching sound and a steam train chugging away from the station, the tune drops into a really naughty, distorted stomper and deserves to be played very loud.  Banger from start to finish, more please Shayper!

So get yourselves to the links below (on the respective artwork) to buy both of these stunning tunes which are just the start of some serious heat.  Dirtbox just keeps on giving and LeeUHF just doesn’t give up, working so hard to bring you these relentless releases of absolute dirt.  They are out now!  Check the previews as per usual below.

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years. Having developed my listening style with how the music has evolved I love the freshest tunes as well as the old ones! I've been mixing for fun since around 2005 and just love playing in front of people and sharing the music with likeminded people.
