What’s up D&B fans? This week we have a 3 track EP from the mighty DJ Rap. Her lifelong contribution to the scene is unmatched and this EP leaves us in no doubt about that!
With some wicked modern jungle vibes, this EP is one to pump loud in the club, in the car, wherever you may be.
Let’s start with the opening track, ‘It Ain’t Right’ with its melodic vocals bringing you through nicely during the intro and then you’re suddenly hit with a deadly heavy reece, the dropping into a driven bass heavy tune this one is not to be messed with. Get it on and get it on loud now!
Next up we have ‘Every Time I Hear the Music’ which comprises of that wicked jungle sound that we know and love and just drives you from start to finish.
Last but not least we have a big big track called ‘Control’ which is a heavy affair which takes me back to around 2004 and makes me think of the roof being torn off the SEOne club for some reason. Some wicked samples and a deadly beat, I’d say this one is my favourite from the release.
