Dub Elements – Invasion [Eatbrain]

by | Aug 29, 2017 | Tunes

At the beginning of the summer season I put the word out on Dub Elements. Quickly maturing Neurofunk producers hailing from Sevilla, Spain. Their latest outing on Eatbrain contains five blazing tracks of absolute dancefloor mayhem. This was easily my most difficult EP to select a highlight track do to the overwhelming quality of the entire cut. After much deliberation and many many listens, the title track “Invasion” makes it into my weekly review.

“Invasion” opens with a cascading synth. Epic cinematic horns follow adding size and scale to the soundscape. As the base elements fade out a classic sci-fi sound bit takes you into the first dance section. A chugging bassline pounds the listener. Granular mid range accents hug the bass adding definition and dimension. Strategically placed stabs and FX keep the listener engaged throughout.

Dub Elements are surely looking down the barrel of global set features all around with the “Invasion Ep”. All five tracks are top quality and distinctly different ensuring there is a little something for everyone. Keep your ears on Dub Elements for the best is yet to come.
