If you have yet to come across the duo known as Dub Elements, today is your day. With a release schedule not quite as aggressive as the next established neuro outfit, what they have held back in quantity they have made up for in quality. Their latest outing, “Machine Language” on Optiv’s Red Light Records, grabbed me by the ear drums and dragged me across the internet in search of answers about the release.
The track opens with bouncy synth stabs. It immediately throws you into reeling back to back bassline builds. The intros in your face dancefloor feel grabs at your senses and leaves you hooked from the start. You’re dropped into the first dance section via the “Machine language” sample. Absolute ear candy follows through perfectly places percussion and tight drums. The bassline work is clever and varied through and through as your bounced across great feeling high impact arrangements.
I will personally remember “Machine Language” as Dub Elements break out track in my library. This has proven to be a cut above most of the tunes I have came across so far in 2017. Be sure you take this one for a spin at your next gig and keep an ear out for Dub Elements through the rest of 2017!
