Exodous – Last Breath/Minimal

Certain countries spring immediately to mind when the subject of neurofunk is at hand. The UK, obviously, what with being the birthplace of the D&B movement and all. Russia, because whatever they’re putting in the water over there is clearly working wonders. America is increasingly making their own impact on the sound.

Step forward young Spanish native Exodous, putting his home country on the neurofunk map with a thunderous pair of tracks on Deep Field Audio. Last Breath, which creeps along insidiously before dropping into a thick and subtle roller.

Meanwhile on the flip, Minimal trundles along in a similar, if more aggressive vein, before descending into absolute madness for the second drop. Trust me, stick around for the second drop. Trust me.
