Ancient Drums EP

Ancient Drums

The self titled track of the EP is the perfect intro to this short yet epic journey. Deep drum fills and melodic bells start the intro. Stomping bass and a nicely pitched high end are the body of the track. Rhythmic changes in the bass and synths progress us into an tension building section of strings and vocals. Tribalistic drums add to the intensity. The variations in the bass line and synths feed the energy with expressiveness.

Critical Signal

Second on the EP, Critical Signal takes a turn into the depths. An eerie intro with ghostly synth vocal and atmosphere. A simple drum pattern leads us to the drop and some gritty bass. Sub frequency bassline and sound fx get us rolln to the vibe. The careful sound selections quality drum processing give the track a back bone. The different sections transition to the next part seamlessly and smooth.

Excess

Third on the list is Excess to crank up the energy! Thunderous drums and sharp synth sound fx start us off into the buil with a vocal ” Excess”, drums and bass. Thumping bassline synths layered harmonically create an energy driven and varied melody. This one is fire!

Unsaved

Last but not least here is Unsaved. Bright synths arpeggiate over lifting rise of instruments and atmospheric waves into the drop. The classic sound of Fade duster once again creates an array of harmonic structure into the air waves. The break on this is very creative and the second drop is even better than the second. Beautiful sound design and the right amount of weight in one track done with skill.
