Fernando Ferreira – Run Away With Me – D-LiQ Records

So we have a new single here from D-LiQ Records, this time by Fernando Ferreira.  

The opening track is ‘Alright’ and starts in such a melodic way with some beautiful vocals and a lovely clean synth and crisp beat.  Its a lovely piece of music that gets the groove flowing and the feet tapping.  A really well produced track that has a nice gritty bass hit as well which lifts this even further.  Fernando is a bit of a master of this as seen on his previous D-LiQ release Funk Elements.

The title track for this release is Run Away With Me.  It begins with a lovely synth and then has a sample akin to an older computer game music but its complimented wonderfully with a great vocal and then an awesome beat which has a naughty little bass guitar evident in the background.  A real funk composition from Fernando on this one.  It then breaks down with a cool bit of a piano and saxaphone.  Lots of great instruments used in the production of this tune and it works together so well.  Another phrase kicks in with a really gritty bassline which transforms the tune into something quite different.  Still melodic but with a bit more punch.  What a cracking tune, very impressed with this one!

So all in all a great release by Fernano Ferreira and another stormer to add to the D-LiQ collection!
