Got a realy exciting new release for your ears and USB sticks coming at you from VTO Records. Known for their hard hitting beats and sick releases this one is sure to be a great one!
I’m unfamiliar with HighThere but from what I’ve heard so far, they’re going to go far! Like Kaizen Flow, who have impressed me the whole time I’ve been following them.
First up is the track Prisoner. It’s got an almost gladitorial intro to it with some big drums and what sound almost like chains rattling. The build up before the drop really cascades the emotion towards what is quite frankly an absolutely disgusting drop which is just out and out neurofunk and reminds us it’s a great time to be alive! When the switch up comes in, you are nodding your head, tapping your foot and chucking your nan down the stairs. Don’t take my word for it, listen for yourself!
Next up is Heavyweight. This has a more celestrial intro which oozes atmosphere. The drums come in early which help drive you neatly towards the build up to the drop which then comes and smacks you right in the jaw sending you flying. Yet more disgusting music conjoured up by these artists. If all their collabs sound like this, I want to hear more. Definitely be dropping these tunes into my sets. What great production from Highthere and Kaizen Flow. Legends in the making I’d say.
