While getting ready for this upcoming journey to the UK this next week, I’ve decided to do a deep dive into the Brighton city sound. After digging through a blend of local Drum ‘n Bass / Hip-hop whilst thoroughly scoping the scene’s local artists and programming I’ve stumbled upon this gem of a track. A Drum n Bass remix dropped early in April this year featuring a local rapper known as IbzDaGoat entitled Get 2 Know. I don’t think this is his usual “sound territory” but goddamn does he knocks it out of the park. If I had to compare it, this is a total banger OFF TOP that sits right on par (and key) with Chase and Status’s Disconnect (ft Becky Hill) and would be great transitional track to keep the party moving while spinning between bangers.
