Latest dance floor fillers from Dance Concept recordings. Previously heard on Kenji‘s “BBB” with “Success” on the flip shines light on the minimal side of jump up, a sound I’m particularly fond of. Eagerly anticipating the launch of this EP, let us take a listen to whats in-store.
In The Trap By, Kenji – Dance Concept
“In The Trap” seriously grew on me. Is that what happens when you have a tune on repeat? This the type of sound that makes me want the stems to it immediately. Heavy B-Line on the intro accompanied by a mean synth filled with a hip hop sample before the drop seems to been Kenji’s signature move.
Jealous By, Kenji – Dance Concept
But this time, with a flute. “Jealous” is a extra large bitcurshed b-line roller, a grizzly one at that. Staying true to the Kenji formula, you already know what it is. Panned atmospheric leads in to a bass heavy vocal drop, driving its self right into one hell of a dance floor roller. Quite literally making people all “jealous and shit“. With support from the likes of Playaz’s “Tyke”, Dance Concepts very own “Benny V” and Souped Up’s and my idol “Serum”. At the very least, this release has my full support. It should have yours as well! Feel free to leave your critizism down below and grab this EP on all digital retailers September 9th!
