After a five year hiatus Ed Rush and Audio return as Killbox: refocused, refined and redesigned. They have a new outlook but the same drive, pushing all the boundaries.

WAR BY REMOTE

A cinematic soundscape from the start “War by Remote” sucks you right in wrapped in a complex spine tingling ambience that rips into a vicious sample to set the tone. The mood lingers beneath the beats marching in, commanding control, dispersing the sample into the rabid rhythm that constricts the composition, tightening tenaciously as it fires at rapid speed into the drop. Killbox clicks the detonation button on this impressively designed weapon of mass destruction. A beastly Neurofunk tune orchestrated to devour the room riddled with the most inane animation bouncing and slashing deliberately coordinated to annihilate the senses.

“War by Remote” drives through the mix with inherent intent, rocketing like a missile as it drills through the phrases, the bassline in an unforgiving state as this mind melting war machine continues blasting into the next century. Relentless power from beginning to end “War Machine” smashes its way through the battlefield you won’t know what hit you but you’ll be loading this one again and again.
