Machine Code – Planet 9 [Eatbrain]

0

Eatbrain delivers yet again with a four-track collaboration EP titled Eatbrain Goes to Let It Roll. The title is meant to be taken literally and the tunes seriously.  Featuring Agressor Bunx, L 33, Mindscape, and Machine Code (a Current Value side-project), this EP screams quality from start to finish.  Speaking of quality, I decided to put the spotlight on “Planet 9”, an extremely fast-paced, neo-apocalyptic sounding drum and bass masterpiece.  I absolutely love how Current Value has developed his sound over the years, and it really shows with his new collaboration project Machine Code.  “Planet 9”  serves as a perfect example, boasting a speedy intro, picturesque sound design, and a massively impressive second drop, this will easily go down in the books as one of my favorite Current Value tracks.

I encourage everyone to check out all three other tracks as well (Agressor Bunx / L 33 / Mindscape never fail to deliver), and to support Eatbrain’s celebratory EP for a very well-deserved trip to Let It Roll.
