Mefjus, Camo & Krooked – Sidewinder [Vision Recordings]

MMOOOONNNNDDDAAAAAAYYYYYYY! I had a killer weekend, great party on Friday night that rolled right into Saturday’s sun coming up! I hope everyone had an awesome one as well!!
This week we are going to talk about Sidewinder by Mefjus and Camo & Krooked out on Vision Recordings. None of these producers need an intro, they always bring us fire. This time around they brought something different to the table with Sidewinder.
Sidewinder is short, less then 3min 30sec. It builds and builds right out the gate and then it drops into a low and starts building in a different fashion. It drops into a trend I have been hearing this year, a very heavy techno influence, this track, Sidewinder, more then most because they didn’t just use the techno style highs like most others in this trend I mention…they actually dropped 4 to the floor…I know right, but it works! After said techno style build that’s when you get into some nasty screechy basslines, but not for very long. It hits another low but then It changes ONE MORE TIME at the end of the track into what I feel is Trap.
Overall Sidewinder is a really cool piece of production. How they incorporated all these different styles of music and made it flow is impressive. I have not been a huge fan of this techno style that I have been hearing in 2019, but this one really makes that techno-ish trend work. This track will help jazz up any set.
