This just in from the Hi-Octane campgrounds, somethink fierce from the Amy Octane. Two hour of drum and bass goodness from her Monday Madness routine. 2017 is looking bright for Ms. Octane, and I’m here to shed the light on what’s good.

Two solid hours of heavy, dirty DnB is just the way I like to start my week, how about you? This week Monday Madness was full of filth, just the way we like it. The new State of Mind EP “Automata” has been topping my playlist as of late. Tracks like “Giant” and “Grape Juice” (w/Jade) are heavy hitters as you could expect from State of Mind but my personal favorite has to be “Leapfrog”. It is such a grimy tune and has some really interesting effects. The latest single “Punk Rock” from one of my favorite producers, Erb n Dub, along with North Base dropped on Technique Recordings April 28. You can expect to hear this baby in my sets for a while. With great skill they managed to perfectly blend some heavy AF rock vibes with some thick DnB business and all that comes to mind when I try to describe this tune is WOAH!! This is exactly what I love about drum n bass; producers who aren’t afraid to push boundaries. Erb n Dub posted a ‘making of’ video on Facebook live shortly after the release it was pretty cool to watch and I suggest anyone into production give it a view. Last tune I’ll mention this week is “Space Hopper” from Macky Gee & DJ Phantasy. This is defiantly a jump up track through and through but it’s a smooth mixer and absolutely smashes the dance floor!
