VIPER RECORDS & MURDOCK UNHINGE THE REST OF THE JAW TO CLAMP ON TO THE DANCE FLOOR EVEN HARDER. THIS DELUXE EDITION OF STRONGER ADDS TWICE THE FEELS AND ALL OF THE UPLIFTING VIBES INTO 2021. WITH FUTURE BOUND, GIGANTI & BARE UP BATTING CLEAN-UP!!

That’s right bassheads ! A forth coming lp of remixes & VIP’s. From the powerful 2019 release ‘Stronger‘ by Murdock. Now, Viper Recordings are set to drop this upon us tomorrow, January 29th. With 7 more feature tracks added to blow the dust off of the rafters and shake the chachki’s off the wall’s of flat mates & mums, around the globe.

This series of tunes seemed set out to embody the spirit and strength’s of the ‘Stronger‘ LP. But with a couple twists & turns to the overall sound spectrum of the original arrangements. With assistance from some of the game’s standout old and young producers in big room and festival grade bangers. The original release was recieved on a global level with mammoth streams and sales (over 7 million!). Collectively, all of these new remixes are begging to be slammed out of a wall of VOID‘s to a weeping audience of epic proportions.

Let’s dig right into the remixes first!

We gently open the gate to this aural utopia with ‘Lay Down‘ ft. Sunday Rose (Murdock Halftime edit). This is an absolutely gorgeous song. This sends a message of yearning for a passion that is lost, but not forgotten. Spreading a rich and decadent trip hop feeling, reminiscent of Red Snapper & Everything but the Girl 90’s nostalgia.

Next, We hand the reigns of a the tasty liquid roller ‘Breathe ft. Goldi Phone Home‘ over to Alora. But the flip is wrapped in a more down trodden Berlin esq’ package. The vibrance of the previous harmonies are replaced with 80’s style synth wave vibes. And it comes pretty close to being styled like a John B version of post-punk dnb.

We get hurled back into the jungle with a package deal. There is a VIP from Murdock and a ballistic remix from Giganti of ‘Different Way’ ft. Errol Dunkley‘ . This is a timeless performance that embodies the history behind the many many versions of the hit classic ‘Everyman‘ brought to us almost three decades ago by Kenny Ken and Lee Royal Levi. With touches on it by Drumsound Bassline Smith, Digital, & DRS. Followed by two decades of countless bootlegs. Both of these remixes hit the “junglist tings” vibe and the “rudeboy roller” tech edge.

Now we come to the feel good part of these remixes. ‘Let it Go‘ ft. MLeah (Murdock & Doctrine rmx) and ‘Can’t Keep Me Down‘ ft. Shystie & Sena ( Bare Up rmx) crank the hype meters to 11! This is exactly what big room dnb should sound and be engineered like.  Bare Up takes ‘Can’t keep me down‘ to a place where epic dance floor anthems like ‘Tarantula‘ & ‘ Dreadlock‘ left off. powerful synth lines that you’ll nod your head in in your sleep. Where ‘Let it Go‘ is a total dance floor rocker. Complete with studded guitar lines, Jennifer Hudson large diva vocals, and stadium level production. These are the songs are both “openers” or “enders”, that will smash speaker cones for a very long time.

Rounding out the versatility of this release is the Future Bound remix of  ‘Make me Stronger‘ ft. Jenna G. The original delivered a fun blend of funk bass lines, exotic percussion, and all the bells and whistles of pop forward drum and bass. But, this new take is hot and a bit heavier. Going into the realm that drops you off the cliff into some thicc drumstep and finishes in some power stomp dnb. This would be the ‘Lit’ selection from this release for sure.

So what’s the DILLY YO!?

This new edition is definitely taking the heat of the original release to next level en’ fuego status. All of the power is maintained throughout the remixes. They deliver all of the elements of the original tunes. Putting a new stamp on them. Providing a new palette of fresh sounds and to bulk up the powerful message of love, power, unity, peace, and most important. The love of going buck to some drum and bass. Spreading it’s spider web out further and farther across the globe. Bringing us a little closer together, one hella huge bassline at a time.
