NOIDEX IS SERVING REVENGE, COLD AS FUCK!!

This past week the Russian based label, Paperfunk Records, dropped another weapon upon us. Coming by way of a monster LP from the one like Noidex. It’s a six track album that is nothing short of sci-fi influenced neurofunk madness. Each selection uses its own unique color palette to paint cascading layers of darkness and dystopian funk.

Revenge is a journey through an emotional abyss. With the title track ” Revenge” kicking off the album with a high energy running neuro roller. Backed with a track of male and female vocal leads, chanting at you from the spirit world. The cinematic overlays, synth melodies and ceremonial taiko drums. Blindfold you and walk you directly into a wall of huge basslines and coffin stabs. An amazing tune to kick off a record, letting you know you may not be ready for this.

The track ” The Last Party” pulls the vibe back for a second. Letting us have some semblance of chill. This one is a darker dancefloor bobber. With layers of vocal stabs and rumbling undertones reece. Last Party is definitely in the mix to bring more  big room dnb vibes to a release that feeds on a symphony of destruction.

Two tunes that go full Ying Yang Twins on us are “Mjolnir” & “Darkness is Calling” . The two behemoth of dnb slammers come cross with some fucking stank. Both are perfect examples of how less is more, when it comes to the amount of tracks needed to make a hammer. The tunes get straight to the business, leaving zero room for a reaction that is nothing short of stink face to fist pump. These are the body rockers of the release, full stop.

Last up are two dark dude tech stepper mallets. “ Longline” & “Painkiller” are the carpet the just ties the room together. Each one using natural piano lines to add a more classical and orchestral feel to the songs. Yet lie on the fringe of sadness and the yearning for more BASS!! “Painkiller” has a vocal lead that drives the bus into oblivion. The vibe has me thinking about the older styles of State of Mind of Black Sun Empire darkened metal synthy neuro. The tunes jump right out of the speakers with authority and are heavy as fuck!!!

In conclusion. I fuck with this release! I fuxxx with it hard! From the minute I jammed through this beast. It took less than a few moments before I knew I was about to get into some shit with this one. Every single tune has a purpose and place. Either to give police and relief, or two kick you in the mouth and force you to swallow your own blood. Both Noidex and Paperfunk went above and beyond on this one. So you should go grab this album, raise some fists and break some necks!!!
