There are few things as beautiful as break that is chopped, edited, sliced up and put back together from Nucleus &Paradox. If you have been lucky to see Paradox do it live you know exactly what I mean.
When I first heard this tune a few weeks ago, I messaged a friend and said something along the lines of “I hope one day the music I am making sounds like everything on Esoteric Music.” These guys have been big time inspirations for as long as I can remember. They are among the handful of people I can say that fall into the buy on sight level of artist. They consistently put out music that combines the simple basic elements of drums, percussions, bass, and sparing effects. Its not bare bones as much as it is telling the story with just the beats and bass. Nothing is out of place. Nothing is there for show, or over done. It is the intentional and purposeful programming of breaks and fills that does the work. These two know how to let nuances and edits continue to let the music evolve and have life while showing restrain and placement. ‘Creator’ The latest offering on Esoteric Music from Nucleus and Paradox is yet another example of all of those traits.
