Octavate – Danger [Octavated Audio]

Once more sharing the latest drum and bass straight to you, we present Octavate – Danger [Octavated Audio]. The duo known for smashing drums patterns and huge bass distorted to taste. Cultivating their own drum and bass path with a flexible style and quality sound.  They’ve released more than a few tracks within the past years and started their own label. Tracks like Party Time on Neuroheadz, the Spill EP on Counterpoint Recordings and Oh Lord on Dispatch Recordings. Their work started around 2021 and have been increasingly like by the heads. We can’t wait for more.

Danger

This track kicks off with horn reverberating off in the distance layered with airy atmosphere and a laser like synth. A melody emerges with a hat setting the tempo and a raga vocal ” Danger “. Now the drums come in full resolution to give the phrase length. Next the bassline drops in call and answer fashion and the response is fire. As the track knocks forward more elements are layered in adding more movement and momentum. The bass comes in a more complex form before the break flaunting extra funk. At the short break it then builds up from a section utilizing the calling bass to raise the energy and teasing the call into the second drop. Emphasis added in the form of just a bit more distortion at the right time and some creative sound effects puts the icing on the cake.
