Optiv is our AOTW

I know we have already had the legendary Cause 4 Concern in the spotlight, but with the launch of the new “Optiv Stories” project, as well as his own solo ventures, I wanted to take another step back to give tribute to one of the best to ever do it that has unfortunately left us too soon. Its hard to really put into words the exact era he represents, as the tunes were always forward thinking in the past, yet in the ladder years of his career they pulled from the past while still simultaneously still upgrading and updating. He walked that fine line that I love so much between the classic sound with the modern processing, while also pushing that through his labels Red Light & C4C. On top of that, every person I personally know that has worked with him or been around him talks highly of what an amazing person he is. His music and legacy will lie on through us all, and I constantly feel inspired by what he does. This weeks to you Optiv!
