Pandemonium – Burner Brothers

0

This east coast duo has been on fire as of late, already dropping monster releases this summer on Technique Recordings and they’re home base label Patrol the Skies. Continuing the trend of releasing great tunes on legendary labels, Formation Records UK brings us the latest installment of another contribution to this summers DNB heat wave in “Formation Drum and Bass Sounds of Summer Vol 1“. I’ll start by informing you that there are a lot of big, groove worthy tunes from artists such as The Standard, Sweet & Sikka, Pish Posh, Dj SS & Jamal, Bladerunner and many more on this release, and I strongly recomend picking up the entire album when it comes out. However one of my personal favorites is “Pandemonium” from The Burner Bros. This track is 100% all about the funk, from the classically used and always appreciated Apache break to the 80’s flick style synths and the vocoder infected hook, that is all a little reminiscent of early 2000’s Shy FX with a Daft Punk twist. If this doesn’t bring out your inner B-Boy or B-Girl, then i don’t know what will. The Burners are going all out with this one and have now entered the discussion for best track of the summer of 2016 in my opinion. Big up Dj SS and the Formation crew! Its great to see so many awesome artists representing on this one. Close out your summer with a bang and scoop this up, you can thank me later. Buy it and play it LOUD!  Coming out exclusively on Beatport 09/02/16, all other reliable digital outlets 09/16/16.
