Paperclip – Sueta / Neurofunk Forever – VTO Records

Yo DnB Heads!  Strex here on Best Drum and Bass with a new release for you all on VTO Records, this one from the mighty Paperclip of Neuropunk and Paperfunk Recordings.  

This 2-track single from this well renowned producer is a force to be reckoned with starting off with a wicked track called Sueta.  This one start of with some cyber feeling samples in the intro which lead to mystery and excitement.  A really deep and groovy tune that drops which has a heavy bassline and some gnarly samples that squelch and groan you through this wonderfully produced tune.  Great offering from Paperclip here!

Next up on the release we have ‘Neurofunk Forever’.  This one immediately hits you with a subtle groove through the intro, then some reece laden parts which build you up nicely for the drop.  A true Neurofunk tune which seems to take inspiration from the mid 2000’s evolution of the genre.  There is a wicked switch up which offers up a different style of Neurofunk later through the tune which adds some real spice to the mix.  Yet another wicked tune from Paperclip, this one is my personal favourite from the single.
