“I always thought you would be someone I could trust”
Bursting into the scene with brutal neck snapping basslines Parallel is turning some serious heads and this young pioneer of drum and bass is most certainly one to keep an eye on moving forward. His latest release “Trust” released on Nemesis Recordings has been catching rave reviews and finding its place in sets from some of the top DJs in the circuit; one play on this tune and it speaks for itself through a powerhouse of basslines and intricate sound design.
“Trust” kicks off with soft atmospheric vibes leading the way to a light percussive intro as a spine chilling vocal sample cuts in ‘I always thought you would be someone I could trust’ … Monstrous stabs report in warning to raise the suspense as the vocal echoes over an intensifying beat. The drop delivers satisfactory amounts of bass stretching and mutating to new horizons over a solid, clean snare. This deep, dark roller rockets the foghorn trend to a whole new level as we hear Parallel’s exploration in sound design accentuating variation within his composition to keep it fresh and interesting. Warping, switching, dropping, stabbing, stretching “Trust” is a solid journey into new aged drum and bass amplifying the latest trends and showcasing this young producer’s thirst for something more.
While the single “Trust” is smashing dance floors to bits worldwide we can’t wait for more from the young producer Parallel as he continues his journey into producing drum and bass music for the masses. A few hints have been popping up on social media and ‘Parallel V2’ may be something to keep an eye out for!
