The Prototypes – Redose (InsideInfo Remix) [Viper]

InsideInfo remixing The Prototypes is about exactly what you’re thinking–amazing.  I was already in love with the original “Redose” that debuted on the group’s scorching-hot City Of Gold album, now InsideInfo has re-built the song from the ground up, and it sounds fantastic.  Using almost only the vocal samples from the original track, InsideInfo has managed to take what used to be an ultra-groovy dubstep track and turn it into a neurofunk masterpiece.  Boasting massive bass patches (very reminiscent of “Pulsation”) and melodic high-range synths, InsideInfo’s remix bounces all over the place, while maintaining a rhythm very familiar to fans of drum and bass.  If Prolix and Mob tactics’ track “Transmission” made love to InsideInfo and Mefjus’ “Pulsation”, it would birth something like this.
