Happy Friday Best D&B Fans!

This week we have a release from R-Vee, a resident artist on D-LiQ Records who has created a staple sound in the labels armoury.

First up, we have Just Believe which has a lovely old skool theme to it, it really rolls you through the intro with some excitement and mystery.  The drop builds from a breakdown and when it comes in you really shuffle your feet with the dark bassline and wicked samples over the top.  Banging track!

The second tune on this 4 track EP is Morning Vibez.  This one you can almost smell the coffee brewing as the intro slides along with a chilled motion with some cool bongos in the background, I love a bongo me!  The bass hits as the breakdown before the drop comes in however and it drops with a real quality vibe that gets those feet shuffling.  It’s a mellow tune but has some grit to it as well.

Next up we have the title track, Nightlights.  This starts with a wicked intro that really gives you the feeling of speeding through the streets at night with the lights whizzing past you.  When this drops, it continues this theme with melody and bass and a really cool beat that transports you to another place.  A wicked track and one worthy of any liquid set!

On the flip of this, we have Speak The Truth which has a cool muted bongo beat to kick start you off, combining a nice melodic riff and some wonderful sounding samples.  You then get a really cool vocal which leads you through the rest of the build up to the drop which hits you with a really awesome old skool flavour that is kind of reminiscent of older Dillinja but with more melody and an upbeat feel to it.

What a cracking release from D-LiQ as per usual which is out now and available to get into your basket!

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years. Having developed my listening style with how the music has evolved I love the freshest tunes as well as the old ones! I've been mixing for fun since around 2005 and just love playing in front of people and sharing the music with likeminded people.
