Rene LaVice is back again with another serious crowd pleaser fresh from Ram Records. “Don’t Look Down” has it all, uplifting synths and vocals with a smashing beat. I can not get enough of this one. The vocals from Bullysongs are kinda reminiscent of the 90’s grunge rock I grew up on, seamlessly placed with the drum and bass sounds I have been in love with for years. Rene LaVice has always found the perfect middle ground between pretty and heavy as hell, and this tune is the epitome of that sound. To some this may seem a bit “poppy” for dnb, but to me… this track embodies what much of the “Main Stream Drum and Bass” sound has been missing for some time now, and that is soul. You can get this now on all reliable and legal digital music outlets and you can also pre order the 12″ vinyl. Buy this and play it loud.
