   As summer 2025 is on its last leg. Touring artists are crawling across airpots to their last few dates. Crowds are finding their second wind. In what was the hottest & “moistest” summer across the states in recent years. From coast to coast. It’s been a pretty good summer for dnb across the land. With the absolutely stacked World of Drum and bass line up tearing up the east coast a middle states. To small runs in intimate venues from Chase n Status and Andy C . Old and new heads have been getting pummeled with amazing sets, from some of the best to ever do it.
But the bassbins are not done with us yet. here is a quick rundown of what’s coming up this next week in your area.

8/2 Anna Morganw/ Dan Dara, Toyacoyah b2b Merrick Brown, Sylock ,Silence ,Rippl ,Gerdie @ Freeman Guild // Grand Rapids.                                                                                                                                                            

MIDJ and Producer Anna Morgan is a sonic adventurer exploring the junction of urban and tribal. This native New Yorker is a connoisseur of globally minded low-end frequencies that narrate her journey of seeking freedom through music and dance. With her new single “Grace” on Black Marble Collective Anna flexes grimey basslines and funky Footwork & Jungle style percussion, while chopping up provocative vocals. The song is a homage to women everywhere who define femininity for themselves, rather than accepting society’s definition of what it means to be a woman. With remixes from Moscow’s own A.Fruit, the mysterious Habibiboi and NYC’s Kala this release has styles and heavy bass for every club situation

8/2 Critical Octane w/ Delamota, Riverman, Thomas Kelly , Kazii , Bass Doctor ,Vola Beats @ Bourbon on Division // Chicago ,                                                                                                                                                                    

Critical Octane is a dynamic the dj duo currently based out of Wisconsin. Critical Control Point and Octane Amy merger their high energy styles of djing and tune selection. Onto the stage using four decks to massacre the dance floor. Merging neurofunk, techy rollers, and some jungle flavors. Both are contributing writers for Bestdnb and DrumandBassProper. Also representing crews DB, Altitude Sickness and Boomslang records.

8/6 Data Drop w/ Contraversy , Patern & Katharsiz , Julez @ The Auld Shebeen // Fairfax, VA.                                 

DATA DRoP grew up in the famous mid 90’s DC/Baltimore rave scene. Calling clubs like Nation and Paradox home, he picked up his musical influence from the many headline DJs that passed through. DATA DRoP quickly started DJing himself and learned from watching his idols closely. Over his 20+ year DJ career he has played nearly every genre of electronic music. Of course DJing was not enough to satisfy his musical interests so he learned production. In 2008 he released his first song, a house track under his real name Judson Myers. More recently Judson found his main passion is Drum & Bass and has been producing it vigorously. He creates an original style of upbeat funky Neuro DnB specifically designed for the dance floor. 

8/3 Ben Soundscape @ The Sultan Room // Brooklyn , NY.                                                                                  

Ben Soundscape is a drum & bass producer from Bristol, UK. As well as producing solo tracks for labels like Dispatch, V Recordings and Prestige Music, he’s also one half of The Insiders and one third of Mosaic. Over many years The Insiders achieved sought-after releases with their brand of deep liquid funk. They clocked up an impressive discography on labels like Renegade Recordings, V Recordings, Frontline, Defunked and 31 Recordings. With his production partner moving into other fields Ben branched out on his own, recording under the name Ben Soundscape.                                                                                  .

8/3 Lost City w/ Jamal, Flaco & The Colonel @ Stamina // San Fran. , CA.                                                           

Lost City is a Jungle/DnB DJ, producer based out of Northern California. Known for his vocal-heavy, Jungle/Drum n Bass productions and dynamic DJ sets. Having collaborated with many respected vocalists like; Ward 21, Riko Dan, Spyda, Suku, Mozaia, Michele Wylen, Navigator, Rider Shafique…. With standout releases on Liondub International and Bristol’s hottest new label Born On Road.          .

8/8 Dieselboy & Fury w/ Dino @ Darkstar // Tempe , AZ.                                                                             

Dieselboy, the stage name of Damian Higgins, is a dnb dj, producer and label founder ( Human Imprint). A Pittsburgh native, he’s considered a pioneer of American underground bass music and a global ambassador of drum and bass. Higgins’s career began in the early 90s after being inspired by Belgian hardcore techno. He’s known for his relentless drum and bass sets and “cinematic” mixes.

8/8 Subduction Audio dnb night @ Rae loft bakery // Portland , OR

8/9 Code w/ Greenleaf , Darkstar & Recon residents @ Black Box // Denver , CO.                                              

Code is a dj, producer and label owner out of Ireland. The Subtle Audio label is his brand and has been in existence since 2005. The aim of the operation is to release interesting and experimental breakbeat D&B. Since the inception artists such as Alpha Omega, Equinox, Breakage, Nebula, Fanu, Polska, Macc, dgoHn, Naibu, Dissident have contributed beats to the project.
