The mighty Eatbrain is at it again with a fresh release for the DnB world. Eatbrain#24 features 4 tunes from the nuerofunk duo hailing Saint-Petersbourg, Segment & Concept Vision. With releases on labels such as Blackout, Critical Music and Subtitles, these boys bring the heat. In true Eatbrain fashion this EP delivers heavy basslines and drum work to make your head bounce.
Radiant starts off the EP with a mysterious vibe to set the pace. Dropping into a sweeping bass and backed with a beautiful yearning melody and soft arpeggios, this tune is a bass heavy mover. Next up is the EP title track Mammoth. This opens up with a build up into some nasty synths that lead into a series of brutally syncopated blows of bass to your face. Last but certainly not least, Heist sets the dance floor on fire. This energy packed stepper with an eminently catchy hook and deep, driving vibe. This comes in as my favorite of this EP.
Segment & Concept Vision show their talent with this EP. I highly enjoyed reviewing this. Eatbrain continues to push the envelope of the neurofunk world. With release after release of nothing but brutal smashers, and technical drum work. Hands down one of my top labels in the game! Release date: 17 April 2016
