Shapeshifter – Futures (Lee Mvtthews Remix) [A.R.T. Inc]

Hello fellow drum and bass followers. Today I am sharing a new release from one of my favorite artist in the NZ scene. We present Shapeshifter‘s Futures (Lee Mvtthews Remix) on the A.R.T. Inc label. Shapeshifter has been in the game for a long time. With classic tracks from the early 2000’s like Shakedown, Electric Dream, and up through the 2010’s with tracks like Monarch and Bloodstream ft. The Upbeats. Continuing to progress, develop and adapt with drum and bass as it evolves. Pleased with their work since the beginning we can’t wait for what lays ahead for this group of amazing artist’s and the tracks they will share with us in the future.

Futures (Lee Mvtthews Remix) is a unique take on the original. Filled with dance themed synth melody and modern style bass. Lee Mvtthews found the perfect middle ground from the original vibe. He manages to combine it with his style and expression. Keeping enough of the initial feeling and taking it a little further. Adding a pleasant melody to the intro with the vocals. Introducing hefty bass and returning back to bass parts of the original. Breaking off and building back up to an amazing half time section. Making it a formidable track to fuel the up coming festival vibes.
