Sigma – Lost Away (Hybrid Minds Remix) (3 Beat)

Hybrid Minds has made a living off of spectacular drum & bass productions.. This remix of Sigma’s “Lost Away”, is no different. Keeping the elements that gave the original mix life, and blending their seemingly flawless and colorful style – they’ve curated a perfect liquid tune.

The sound of rain hitting your window in the morning sets the mood for an awe inspiring build with vocals that catch your attention immediately. At 1:16 we go into full swing with layers of “I need you”, in the background with the finest piano. If this doesn’t set your mind into a state of relaxation I would be very surprised.

By the second break we rehash how we got to this moment. The vocals of Shakka rain in with power pushing you through the final hook. Once again the piano hits and the mesmerizing piano drives the track to a close.

Overall this is one of the best remixes on the album. While the original Lost Away will always be memorable, Hybrid Minds puts a touch on this track that isn’t comparable to any others on the LP. To me this would be best served up for a chilly morning set as the summer is winding down. Its one i’ll absolutely be keeping on deck for the right moment.
