 STONX (Ollie Barron) is the relentless embodiment of Neurofunk, with a rich musical history rooted in raw energy and dedication to the craft. His journey began in the world of bands, touring the UK with original projects and serving as a session musician for various artists, honing his skills and developing a deep appreciation for live performance.
Inspired by the raw energy and catchy motifs of legends like Teddy Killers, Current Value, Prodigy, and Noisia, STONX infuses his music with captivating riffs reminiscent of bands like Pantera and Korn. This blend of heavy-hitting, down-tuned music with pounding sub bass reflects his diverse musical influences and unyielding passion for the Neurofunk genre.
STONX‘s relentless pursuit of excellence has earned him recognition and support from industry heavyweights such as Gydra, Jade, Black Sun Empire, Manta, Karpa, and Agressor Bunx. His tracks have been featured on prominent platforms like the Neuropunk podcast hosted by Gydra and playlists curated by Black Sun Empire, culminating in his inclusion on the prestigious Eatbrain Divergence V LP.
