If you have a name like “Sub Killaz”, you had better be able to back that up with some rude basslines. Thankfully for us, the Southern California Jump Up duo bring more than enough ruckus to justify the name. Fresh off a smashing Street Series EP on Liondub International (which is available here), the Sub Killaz give us this tune in celebration of reaching 1,000 fans on Facebook. Eerie pads and tight drumming start things off with a militant vibe, sending out a warning shot to prepare the dancefloor. When these west-coast badmen let the shots fly for real, all hell breaks loose. Stepping drum patterns and LFOs fire off, switching into a barrage of wobbly bass sure to make floor show a signal. This is a piece of work to give away for free, a serious tune that could easily realease. Not all Jungle / Drum and Bass is militant and heavy, but then again, not every track is made by Sub Killaz.
