What’s happening my D&B fam! Strex back here with another article for this lovely November Friday. This one is from the mighty Eatbrain label and is from one of the neuro overlords, Symplex. This wicked release features the awesome Raido as well.
So this 4-part EP is a neuro fest from start to finish and it is done so elegantly but at the same time ferociously.
The first track is the title track, Nightmares. This one is a deadly neuro track which is just epic from start to finish layering some sick reeces and heavy beats. Starting off with some epic sirens, you know you’re in for a rough ride and the drop does not disappoint. My kind of neuro this!
Next up we have Abduction which has a title that immediately tells you this is going to be heavy. It’s a rolling neuro beast which has a heavy bassline and pounding beats. A wicked track, perfectly executed.
The third installment is the track featuring Raido. This one has a subdued intro which adds to the theatre of it all before building up dramatically and launching into a serious piece of music. It’s heavy and absolutely destroys the senses. A brilliant production collab from two great artists!
Lastly we have Undead which is a creep fest to begin with, building an atmosphere you feel yourself genuinly scared by. The drop then chugs along with violence and is as heavyweight as we have come to expect from this EP so far. Another superb production from Symplex!
