Tapolsky & VovKING – Etude №5 [ProgRAM]

ProgRAM delivers two new artists with an incredibly unique style to the table with a hot debut single on the label. Tapolsky & VovKING have been in the game for a while but are making their debut onto ProGram with 2 tracks that are sure to stand out on the dancefloor. VovKING has been djing for nearly a decade now and rose up the ranks in the Ukrainian Drum and Bass community with a slew of releases in the realm of breaks where he has spent most of his time as a DJ and producer meshing with some of breakbeats finest over the years and playing in a large amount of countries to match. Tapolsky has been in the Ukraine D&B scene for quite some time aswell, being dubbed the father of Ukrainian drum and bass by some and a commited DJ all around.

Lets dive into their debut contribution on ProGRAM. Etude №5. With quick and scientific percussion leading the intro of the tune in comes a analog esque and moody leads that playfully progress when the percussion fades. The soundscape is left with drawing anticipation as Etude drops with stabbing and pulsing leads with deep and complex bassline business. Intricate and experimental is the name of the game here making big sounds with a minimalistic approach proving that sometimes less is more!

This is an interesting release by the Ukrainian duo and i highly recommend giving it a listen!
