The Future Sound Of Brazil – Hospital Records

0

As always Hospital Records comes correct, bringing us a nice sampler straight from Brazil. With an eclectic genre selection spread through out the sounds of dnb, you have bit of everything one this one. I hear a lot of classic drum and bass influence on “The Future Sound of Brazil”, while holding true to that deep, funky, beachy, good feelin’ thing that producers from Brazil like SPY and Urbandawn have been known to put out from time to time. This album also features some up and coming talent with Simplification Translate & Amaning on “Get Down”, a bouncy roller with spacy synths and soulful vocals. Nitri comes with a old school style jump up tune, with some samples and sounds reminiscent of Ed Rush and Optical, and maybe even  slight nood to Moving fusion hidden in the drum line of “Shiver”.  An all time favorite producer of mine, Bungle is featured on “Sacred Floor” with one of hospitals newest signings Urbandawn. An uplifting, feel good tune, but with some somewhat haunting melodies and vocal samples. All in all this is a great expression of drum and bass that dives deep into the sound as a whole, and we are excited to hear it! The future of dnb is looking bright in Brazil no doubt. This album is available for purchase now, so buy it and play it loud!
