TRCD feat. Bad Ace – Gates of Vector EP – VTO Records

Yo Neurofunkers, Strex is back this week with a Neurfounk release which has already landed and if it isn’t in your collection by now, it will be once you’ve finished reading this.

This is from UK producer TRCD who knows full well how to wizard up an absolute stinker of a release.  Every release is a buy on sight for me as they encompass melody and ferocity all together to form some of the best Neurofunk around.

Opening up with the title track Vector which has a wonderfully mysterious intro that almost has a Stranger Things feel to it, it soon takes you down an even darker path that TRCD is so good at creating.  The drop is absolutely disgusting with a filthy reece and driving beat and be prepared for that naughty little 4×4 in the breakdown back into the filthy neurofunk stinker for the second drop.

Next up we have the track with Bad Ace which presents us with a beautiful atmospheric and cinematic style intro.  This is then dropped into a really awesome piece of music which is euphoric while retaining some absolute filth.  What a Beast of a track, see what I did there? If you know, you know!

We are also treated to a 3rd track on this amazing release, the last being called ‘Reaction Time’ which takes us through another amazing intro to this awesome stab and a techno style vibe with a DnB beat, absolutely loving this one!  What a heater, you know this goes off in clubs, well I can tell you first hand that it does after seeing TRCD recently at Virus.
