VA – GYDREMIXES Part 2 – Neuropunk Records

How is it going my lovely DnB fans!?

Strex back this week with another fire release, this one is from the Neuropunk Records camp in the form of a 7 track VA remix release of some wicked Gydra tunes.

We have remixes from IJENTA, Mayel, Enzy K, Vecster, Punchman, Decrese & 1nverter.

First up we have Neft which has been lovingly remixed by IJENTA – with a theatrical intro that sounds like it’s summoning a beast from the depths of hell.  When it builds you know it’s going to take your head off and you won’t be disappointed as your headpops clean off your shoulders and rolls around on the floor to the absolutely deadly, fast paced beats and disgusting bass.

Next up we have Cartepillar which has been remixed by Mayel.  A sinister but uplifting intro bears down on you and drops into a nan slapping, head nodding ferocity that stings the eyes with it’s nastiness.  

Alpha is the tune we have next with a beautifully produced remix by Enzy K which has what can only be explained as a two-tone intro switching from serene to a bit of an energetic build up which then drops into some wonderfully crafted funk that is a slow-jam but a head nodder all the same.  Wicked track!

Next up Vecster brings us their remix of Loot Ninja which plays some awesome ninja sound effects in the build up, which then drops to a funky neuro stepper which continues the fun Ninja sounds.  Really enjoyed this track!

Parasites is the next tune on the agenda, remixed by Punchman – the build up on this one is wicked and leads to a really techno vibe drop which is led by a wonderful rolling neurofunk beat.  Love this one, it’s got guts!

Next up we have SLAB which has been remixed by Decrease.  This banger has some very interesting information on concrete slabs in the intro (I am a building surveyor by trade so this interests me haha!) It then hits you with a 4 to the floor before slapping you across the face with a driven neuro pile driver (another construction reference – yeehaw) Wonderful tune, wonderful theme!

Last but not least we have 1nverters remix of Neft which closes the proceedings brilliantly as we opened with a remix of this tune.  Another cinematic intro which takes you to a drop that has a real quality riff over the top that gets you in the groove.  Just heard this on Stonx Musics set on the Neuro Circus Raid and not going to lie, it went off.
