We present Vici – Never More / Shades of Light (ft. īnkūbe) [Evolution Chamber]. A release that encapsulates the creative identity the label has cultivated over the years. Ever pushing forward at forefront of new sounds. French producer Vici has been killing the game as an artist. Since his debut back in 2017, he has been carving out his lane among the most respected names in the scene. From his start on True Bass to shelling out tunes for Blackout, Eatbrain, and ProgRAM, his reputation is built on uncompromising quality. Following his massive album Flashover earlier this year, Vici brings a hefty piece of funk to the Evolution Chamber camp.

Never More

Kicking off the release is Never More. The intro is the calm before the storm, featuring euphoric pads that glide into a melodic bridge. It teases the melody in the intro building up to the drop, creating tension. When it hits, it erupts into a hard-hitting call-and-response drop.

This track balances weight and elegance in equal measure. It effortlessly shifts through moods, moving from that filthy first drop into a restrained breakdown. Then, just when you think you know the game, Vici flips the script with an unexpected trip-hop switch to close it out. It is a track rooted in creativity, where every movement feels deliberate, yet unpredictable.

Shades of Light

On the flip, Vici teams up with long-time collaborator īnkūbe for Shades Of Light. This is an expansive, emotionally rich piece that reveals another dimension of his art. Starting with shimmering pads, and atmospheric sound, īnkūbe’s leads the way. The drop approaches striking balance between a contrast of power and softness. Switching up the vibe on the second drop with huge drum patterns and longer slower notes creating a massive space of sound.
