9THWAVE – Crown of Rust / Rave of the Ruins – VTO Records

by | Sep 4, 2026 | Releases, Tunes

Yooooo D&B fans!  Strex back with another article this week!  We have a wicked release from the Neuro label VTO Records and this one is a 2-track single from 9THWAVE.

First up we have an awesome cinematic intro with some amazing vocals as the tune builds up to a nasty stomper of a neuro track layering that lovely voice back in every now and then just to give you that melody back.  A truly wonderful track that is full of energy and emotion.

On the flip of that we have Rave of the Ruins.  This tune starts with a moody spoken vocal that goes along with the rythm of the intro sounds.  When it drops you get transported to some middle eastern temple with some wicked sound effects and a dirty beat that accompanies the bassline perfectly.

Both of these tracks are so well produced and give you some great feeling and emotion, an outstanding release by 9THWAVE.

You cna grab yourself a copy of this by clicking the banner above or artwork below and check the clips, you won’t regret it!

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years. Having developed my listening style with how the music has evolved I love the freshest tunes as well as the old ones! I've been mixing for fun since around 2005 and just love playing in front of people and sharing the music with likeminded people.
