Project Zeus – Hiding/Vacuum – Dirtbox Recordings

Yoooooo!  How’s it going D&B fans?  Got a new one for you this week from the Dirtbox Recordings camp.  This one is from Project Zeus which is the solo alias of Dan from the epic neurofunk duo, Volatile Cycle.

This 2 part single is a wicked display of what Dan is able to achieve on his own with a couple of stinking tracks.  Bloomin decent stuff!

The first track Vacuum starts us off with some really atmospheric, chill inducing sounds in the intro which are perfectly produced.  The vocal that builds up towards the really awesome drop that has a simple yet effective beat that layers over some sick sampling and basslines.

On the flip we are presented with a track with another brilliantly produced intro called Hiding.  This one has a trancy feel to it as the euphoria builds the anticipation for the drop.  A disgusting reece sneaks in as the action builds to a crushing drop that is full of pure fire and heat.  A wicked tune and a great showcase of the talents that reside in Project Zeus.
