Blinded Theory – Purge EP – VTO Records

Yo D&B massive!  What’s happening on this fine Easter weekend??  Got another release for you this week from the VTO Records camp, this one in the form of a 3-part EP from Blinded Theory.  Expect madness, expect neuro, expect funk!

So first up we have a track called Crows.  This one is very cinematic and takes you on a bit of a journey through the intro before dropping into a sublime piece of neurofunk which can only be described as musical and dripping in production talent.  A great piece of work from Blinded Theory!

Next up we have Dead Alive.  This one gives you chills as it murmours through the intro before slapping you with some amens as it launches you towards the drop.  Once this hits you know Blinded Theory means business.  It’s an absolute beast of a tune with heavy hitting snares and disgustingly distorted reece bass.  Yet another great piece of production from the one and only Blinded Theory.

Lastly we have Hypocritical.  This one starts with a more serene affair than the other ones but quickly changes as it takes you towards the drop.  It slams into life with a chunky beat and an absolute hellfire of a groove.  The reece bass crashes across your senses, letting you know this one will take your head off if you let it.
